Whiteout by Adriana Anders is a relatively fast paced survival romance set in the continent of Antarctica. Ford Cooper is a grumpy and monosyllabic glaciologist whose entire life basically revolves around ice. He has no interest in romantic entanglements. At least that’s what he tells himself whenever he comes across the cook working at his research station.

Hard Asset is the second book in Pamela Clare’s Cobra Elite series, but it can be read as a standalone. This is actually my first Pamela Clare book and I really enjoyed it. I’m even more excited to dive into her backlist now.
